The owners of The Met and GPO are growing up.

It turns out the joys of thumping EDM and endless vodka Red Bulls has an expiry date. “We’re both 35 this year and hanging out at GPO and The Met on a Friday and Saturday night is just a little weird,” Trent Meade admits.

Meade and business partner Matt Blyth are marking a coming-of-age in business and life with Isles Lane, a new CBD venue. It will lead a rebrand of their Revelry hospitality group as Celissa, which will now focus on food and drinks.

“We’re getting older and our tastes have changed,” Meade says. “It makes sense to deliver a venue with the food we love, beers we love, wines we love – a venue that we really want to be in.”
